We had several Webelos visiting in preparation to crossing over later in the month

There were three Board of Review in preparation of the Court of Honor next week. We also had a Webelo visitor.

The boys practiced building (and lighting) three different types of fires.

Discussion of the camping and working on Tot’n Chip for those who needed it (some again).

Tonight the boys reviewed where they were on their ranks with the Scout Master in preparation for the Court of Honor.

Tonight the troop had an Order of the Arrow election as well continuing with their First Aid merit badge.

First the boys worked on the First Aid merit badge.

Then there was the Order of the Arrow election. A representative from another troop visited to help with the Order of the Arrow election. Our SPL is the only one who is eligible, so the election was simple.

• First Aid will be going over First Aid kits.
• Our SPL had a couple of agenda items to discuss:
• After the meeting the boys will put the flags on the poles instead of doing a game.

Camping tentatively on September 20th and 21st.

The boys continued with their First Aid Merit badge. We had a guest doctor who did the talk for the boys tonight.

Planned for 5 Mile Urban Hike. We’re now starting at 8:30 to help with the heat. They planned to bring water, sun screen, compass, and hat.

New uniforms are coming in to the store on August 15th. Old uniforms are on sale now. The new uniform is partially in anticipation of the 100th anniversary coming up.

First meeting after Boy Scout camp. We started with Roses and Thorns about Camp Frank Rand (Gorham Scout Ranch, now).

The boys voted on some merit badges to work on next. The boys picked First Aid, Camping, and Disability Awareness. Later on they would like to do Model Railroading.

The boys then selected new roles for the next semester.

Planning for Court of Honor and summer camp.

The adults had a committee meeting tonight. The boys planned for managing one of the rest stops on the Rosedale Ride to support the Rosedale School.

Our first meeting of the year! The boys talked about the up-coming camping trip and the Personal Fitness merit badge.

Tonight the boys signed up for Merit Badge University.

They boys got some information on Merit Badge University at UT on February 16th. Then the boys started on their dog care merit badge.

The boys started talking about doing a primitive camp out in January.

The boys started out turning in popcorn money accumulated so far. Then they planned their upcoming camp out with Pack 59.

Tonight was a very sparse night with only 4 boys attending.

They boys planned for Webelos Woods tonight.

We had many of our younger boys tonight and t-shirts were distributed.

Today we had two boys visiting. We learned about the Constitution, which is 220 years old this year. There was also talk about badge requirements and the up-coming popcorn sales.

The meeting started with a name exercise to make sure everyone knew everyone's name.

Then the prospective Eagles presented their projects to the boys, who then asked questions about the projects.

Finally, the new scouts went through their physical fitness activities for their tenderfoots.

We almost didn't have a meeting due to the lack of keys to get inside. Fortunately Thomas had one. There was some humor during the Scout Oath and Law. Then new positions were discussed and assigned. We also talked about poisonous plants that are sometimes found in the home or garden.

We had six boys attend tonight and they practiced putting up tents. There was also a committee meeting of the adults.

Our meeting tonight was heavily attended (8 boys). We discussed the camp, what we liked and didn't (thorns and roses). We had two guests tonight.
